Sugared Cranberries

Sweet, tart & easy to make!

Water, granulated sugar, fresh cranberries, and fresh ginger (optional)

Ingredients Needed for Sugared Cranberries

Warm the water, sugar and ginger over low heat until sugar is dissolved (make sure not to boil the water!), and pour over the cranberries.

Cover and refrigerate over night, or for a quicker batch, let sit in warm simple syrup on counter for 2 hours. 

The next day, strain the cranberries, reserving the steeping liquid if you wish.

Working in batches, gently toss the cranberries in the superfine sugar until well coated.

Place on a lined baking tray and let sit until the cranberries are dry and sugar has hardened.
