Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh fruit
  • 1 cup Halloween candy
  • 8 ounces crackers
  • 8 ounces cheese
  • 8 ounces crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Start by placing all of my fresh fruit and veggie items on the tray.
  • Then add the cheese and little goat cheese ghost crackers
  • To make the ghosts, sloppily smear on some goat cheese, cream cheese or a soft cheese spread like Boursin, onto a rectangular cracker. Add black raisins or dried currants for the eyes and mouth.
  • To make the Halloween shaped cheese and crescent rolls, simply grab a couple of fun cookie cutters and cut out shapes. Bake crescent rolls as directed.
  • After that, add the pretzel sticks and candy, and then fill in any empty space with more treats.
  • Add in a few Halloween decorations. Small pumpkins, skulls and black plastic spiders to make this fun and spooky!

Notes

Include a small amount of protein will help get some actual food in your ghouls and goblins and lessen the sugar crash so your Halloween party doesn’t turn into a spooky party!
Here I added the peanut butter as well as orange cheese cut into various shapes with a Halloween cookie cutter. Salami, ghost quesadillas or string cheese are also a fun idea.
