Air Fryer Lemon Chicken

An easy recipe for moist and tender air fryer lemon chicken breasts using a fresh and simple marinade.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken breasts 3-5 breasts, depending on their size
  • cup olive oil
  • 2 Lemons zested and juiced
  • 4 Garlic cloves minced or sliced thin
  • 1-2 teaspoon Salt
  • Red pepper flakes a pinch

Instructions

  • Juice and zest 2 lemons, then cut into ½' slices.

  • Combine all ingredients, except chicken, in a large bowl or Ziploc bag. Mix well, then add the chicken. Let marinate in the fridge for 2 hours or up to overnight.
    ⅓ cup olive oil, 4 Garlic cloves, 1-2 teaspoon Salt, Red pepper flakes, 2 lbs Chicken breasts
  • When ready to air fry your chicken, remove the breasts from the marinade and place in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375 degrees f for 10-12 minutes depending on the thickness of each breast. Internal temperature should reach 160 degrees f with an instant read thermometer.
  • Let chicken rest for at least 5 minutes and the slice to serve.

Notes

Nutrition facts are not 100% accurate due to the calculation of the olive oil used in the marinade, most of which will be discarded. Nutrition will be closer to that of a regular chicken breast.
