Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 ounce chocolate chips

Instructions

  • First, slice bananas in half and leave an even straight line for their bottoms. Or you could cut out 2 triangles to make it look like they’re wearing a little tattered sheet.
  • Next, you can either attach mini chocolate chips to make a face. Simply turn chip upside down and push into banana so it holds.
  • Or you can melt some dark chocolate or candy melts and draw on eyes and a mouth with a toothpick.
  • Lastly, if you have those cute edible candy eyes, you can affix some melted chocolate to the bananas, then add the eyes and mouth and let dry.

Notes

Keep in mind the bananas will brown a bit as they sit out, although it does take several hours. So try to make these as close to your event as possible so they stay nice and fresh.
And the jagged bottoms are a bit delicate, so arrange and transport carefully! The little feet will break off if you’re not careful.
