Fluffy & buttery

Butter (melted)

Milk

Eggs

Flour

Sugar, Baking Powder & Salt

Mix dry ingredients  in a medium size bowl

Mix wet ingredients in a separate small bowl

Step 3

Gently stir wet into dry ingredients and mix till well combined

Batter can still have small lumps. Just make sure you don't over stir or leave in any very large lumps

Grease a pan or griddle warmed on medium high, and add a large spoonful of batter

Flip over when pancakes have small pin size holes in batter and the batter is semi-set and not runny, about 3-4 minutes. Cook another 1-2 minutes on other side till browned

Expert Tips

If you have time, allow the mix to sit for 30 minutes before making the pancakes. This tends to yield even fluffier pancakes!

You can freeze leftovers in a air-tight container for up to 3 months (and in the fridge for a few days). 

Reheat these homemade fluffy pancakes in either the microwave or toaster.

Toss in some protein powder or ground flax seed to make these basic pancakes a bit healthier.
