In a large skillet, heat olive oil and add in the chopped onion and sausage pieces. Saute until sausage is slightly browned.
Add in the garlic and orzo and cook for a few minutes.
Add in the broth and seasonings and simmer until the orzo is al dente. Then add in the broccolini and cover the pan.
Stir in the parmesan cheese and lemon zest, then serve immedietly.
