Ingredients

  • 1 Brie wheel
  • 4 tablespoon Fruit jam

Instructions

  • Remove the brie wheel from it’s wrapper and place on a parchment lined prepared baking sheet or a small cast iron skillet. Do not remove the brie rind. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Once the brie is done baking, remove from the sheet pan and place on your serving platter. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes, then top with jam.
  • Serve this perfect appetizer with your favorite crackers, baguette slices or slices of crisp apple.

Notes

Bake time will depend on the ripeness of your cheese, so keep an eye on it and check on it by piercing the side of it with a small paring knife. Brie that is at peak ripeness will already be oozy on its own, so you don’t want to over-bake it. Unless purchasing from a fancy cheese counter, you are likely to get a wheel that may be under ripe. This will make the brie more firm, requiring more baking time.
If using a wedge of brie, it will require just a few minutes of bake time; about 5-8 minutes.
