The perfect Spring quiche

Savory ham combined with fresh tender asparagus makes a delicious creamy quiche that is perfect for brunch of a light dinner. Make your own low carb crust for a healthier twist.

1 cup asparagus

1 cup diced ham

5 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup cheddar cheese

To make low carb crust:

2.5 cups almond flour, 1 egg, 1/4 cup melted butter

Combine crust ingredients in a medium bowl and mix till combined. Press into a 9" pie plate and blind bake at 350 for 10 minutes.


Make the crust


Saute the onions, asparagus and ham over medium heat, then add to the crust. Top with cheese, then pour whisked eggs and milk mixture on top. Bake at 375 for approximately 45 minutes till filling is set.

Make the quiche

Quiche is very customizable. If you don't have ham on hand, or even asparagus, you can swap in leeks, broccoli, bacon or turkey bacon.

Quiche is wonderful for meal prepping, as it reheats so easily. Slice up quiche and store in single -serve airtight containers. Reheat in the microwave on high for 1 minute.




Blind baking is cooking a pie crust before you add  the filling. This helps avoid a soggy undercooked crust and firm filling. It is recommended to blind bake a homemade or store bought crust.
