This classic ham and asparagus quiche recipe can be made with a store bought or low carb homemade crust. Light yet filling, buttery and savory, it makes for a great high protein (and low carb optional) meal.
Combine the flour, butter and an egg in a medium bowl. Mix until everything sticks together.
Grease a pie pan and evenly press the crust mixture into the pie pan. Bake in the oven until crisp.
In a large bowl, mix together the eggs, milk and seasonings.
Warm a skillet over medium head and add olive oil. Cook the onions until translucent, then add the asparagus and ham.
Pour the asparagus filling into the par-baked crust. Sprinkle cheese on top and then carefully pour egg mixture over the ingredients. Then bake until filling is set.
